We began the tour of more than one million LED lights along a 1.5-mile drive through course
It brought out the kid in us to see the lights while driving through the tunnel under the stands.
There were many themes of lights.
They had us listen to their radio station of Christmas music as you drove.....NASCAR drivers like Tony Stewart, Darryl Waldrop, Brad Keselowski, Bill Elliot, Carl Edwards was speaking between the songs.

car loads of kids enjoying the lights |
Georgia Gift of Lights website has all the info...the cost is $15 per car
Disclaimer: I was given a free ticket to the Gift of Lights to blog about my tour
I had to remind Hubs that he was not a NASCAR driver when we drove home!
However Hubs and I enjoyed the lights!
If we lived closer we'd go - my boys would love it!
ReplyDeleteGosh I didn't know anything about it - and I live right here! Thanks,

Beautiful. I'd love to go, if I was close.
ReplyDeleteWow Kim, that's spectacular! I have never seen anything like it!
ReplyDeleteThe main thing is that the lights "brought out the kid in you". There aren't many things that can do this.
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful, that last picture is my favorite!!! We have one of these in a big local park, but it's not near as big or fancy.
ReplyDeleteThat is really cool! And come on, let your husband dream a little...
ReplyDeleteThere is something about light displays that is just magical. I loved that last shot. Thank you so much.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, the child in me also loves balloons and fireworks.
Amazing. Sometimes being a kid again is lots of fun. Too bad you had to slow down once you got on the highway. Where did the kid go then?
ReplyDeleteOh. My. Goodness. That is the coolest place. There is nothing around here that comes close. So glad you got to enjoy it. Blessings sweet friend.
ReplyDeleteI love Christmas lights. We're going to go look at them. I hope they don't make me cry though. EEK. I am gearing up for it though!
ReplyDeleteThese are really pretty.
Looks like a great thing to drive through and enjoy the lights, the music, to help get into the holiday spirit! I know when we lived in Montana the local zoo did something similar; so much fun to go and see the light displays!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great bargain too at $15 a car!
pictures were great too of your trip!
