Honoring Veterans on 11-11-11

Hubs Sub
Happy Veteran's Day!


I have a special appreciation of my Hubs service
he was in the Navy.

Hubs was in a submarine with 100? men.
(they were packed in it like sardines)

 To all Veterans I say
THANK YOU!

    I was on a train when I passed the unique time & date:11 hours on 11-11-11.

    Gosh, you had a picture of the sub made into a clock! This is way cool! I bet he loves it, too. Or maybe it is not good memories? Oh, I would get SO claustrophobic, and I have to have lots of daylight, too. The sailors must have to take lots of vitamin D. Hope you have a great weekend!

    my step son was also in the navy and is now a civilian employee for the navy.
    My husband tried to talk my son in to the navy but he didn't like the sound of being stuck on a sub and joined the army.

    I have a cousin in the Navy who has served on subs too. I don't know how they stay on those ships for months at a time!
