Adjusting to the Time Change

I am having the worst time adjusting to the time change!

It has been a long time days since the time fell back
and I am still falling back in my brain!

Maybe it is my old body having a tough time changing!

Have yall adjusted?

  1. I have the easiest time adjusting to the fall back change. The spring forward just abouts kills me!

  2. I'm with Karen. I feel great when we fall back, but when we lose that hour in the spring I don't feel right for weeks! Hope you feel better soon!

  3. this is the bad one for us to adjust to because we do everything by the clock. the dogs games and our 5 meals a day are at set times. the dogs get their snack at 10 and now each day at 9 they both sit up and wait and when we don't do the snack and go out for a ball game they think we are crazy. we like this one best because it is fits our life style, early to bed and early to rise, so it is light quicker and dark at early bed time. but i would like it to stay the same on either one. none of us, including dogs adjust quickly. takes about 4 weeks

  4. We shouldn't have to adjust. Why do they still do this? Just to confuse us and make things harder. I have never heard one good reason why we can't have daylight savings time all year, what is the point of changing?? Oops, you got me all riled up again, sorry!

  5. Nope. I was up two hours earlier than I had to be this morning. Which I wouldn't have minded if it'd actually been light out!

  6. This year I adjusted fast. Not every year is the same, some years I'm off for a week or so. (And some years I'm just off.)

  7. Why are we still changing time - let's leave it alone.

I have a hard time with this one and a harder time with the one in spring!

  8. Maybe it is because I am used to travelling a lot between timezones, that this hour of change does not really affect me?

  9. Not a fan. Sigh. At either end. I adjust better in Autumn (just), but really don't like it.

  10. Personally, I love falling back...snuggle with my pillow, dreaming and drouling an hour longer...love it! 8-)

  12. Oh Kim, I hate the time changes also. The older I get, the harder it is to adjust... I'm okay now---but for a day or two, I struggled.

  13. Luckily I live in Arizona and we don't change the clocks. It's great! I'm so glad I found your blog. Feel free to stop by mine too.

  14. The fall back isn't so bad. It's the getting dark at 5:00 that I don't like. When it gets dark, I'm ready to go to bed. Not fun!

  15. aww Kim. this made me smile a bit b/c I don't do change well...even good changes. Hang tight. Soon your body will adjust and you won't have to worry about it again until spring. Yeesh.

  19. Our state government doesn't do daylight saving but we wished they did. Hope you catch up soon.

  21. I am still getting up one hour earlier now! Ha! So I just go with it. I figured I will eventually level out!
    Sigh!
