I proclaimed this rose bush dead when I posted photos earlier this year on Spring Cycle of Roses.
The black basil in front of the roses is not black lately since it is reseeding.....I guess
It is October and I am still enjoying roses as I am freezing....I do not get out from under my blanket nowadays til it is 80 in the afternoon!
I used to complain about the heat since it made me so weak. MS does not like heat.
It is weird how I have changed as the years go by....my roses did not bloom past Spring either??
Amazing that they look so good and are so many this late in the season!!! I don't like the heat, either, but I like the early dark even less!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful - I love roses. Strange about the blooming. I once had a little purple flower that hung out until February - it had icycles hanging off it one day and I couldn't believe it!

ReplyDeleteMy peppers are still producing. Usually by this time of year they are spent.
I am hoping this doesn't mean a hard winter.
This has been the oddest weather year. I am seeing other oddballs still blooming around here too.
ReplyDeleteI guess it's because it's still kind of warm?
The roses are gorgeous. What a treat.
