inside my Smart car |
Thank You Lord!
is what I said as I looked up and saw that.....
I was inches from hitting the car in front of me.
I believe the reason I looked up at the right time was that small still voice thought from God.
I almost had a near fender bender because:
I was distracted by that bag of food in the picture
I was tired
I am not used to these new hand controls
I will stick by my excuses, however,
Distracted Driving is Dangerous!
Distracted Driving is Dangerous!
oh my goodness! so glad you weren't in a crash... no matter how minor they are, a crash can be just awful!
ReplyDeletei just love your little smart car... i've often thought of going down to the test drive
Well, distraction IS bad, but, I'd like big bags of food anytime ;-)
ReplyDeleteGlad you didn't crash that cute car ;) So excited for you!
ReplyDeletei nearly rear ended a car because I looked down at the radio dial for a split second, looked up and traffic was stopped. it only takes a split second, so glad you looked up in time. your steering wheel is adorable.
ReplyDeleteOh My Gosh Kim!! so happy you looked up in time. I have done things like that myself.
ReplyDeleteYou are right Distracted Driving Is Dangerous!!!
I am so very thankful God had his protectin' hand on you.
ReplyDeleteYes, detracted driving is a most dangerous monster.
I'm just thrilled you have your little hand's free car.
God bless and have a fantabulous day sweetie!!! :o)
Thankful your safe. BTW, the knob on your steering wheel 'used' to be called a necker-knob...lol
ReplyDeleteIt can happen so fast with any of us! Glad your guardian angel watched over you!!
ReplyDeleteSo happy that you looked up at the right time.
ReplyDeleteThank goodness you heeded the voice, Kim!
ReplyDeletei have seen the steering knob but never actually used it myself. i imagine it would take some time to get used to. i nearly rear-ended someone recently. close calls are scary but make me a more defensive driver, which is always good.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are okay :)
ReplyDeleteThank God is right! So happy you are ok! That must have been very scary.
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Joanne
Thanks to God that you were safe and in time preserved from a collision. You are a brave woman, and I am glad you are one of our bloggers!
ReplyDeleteThank God you heard and listened to the prompting of God! I think it will just take some time to get used to, but I totally agree about distraction.
ReplyDeleteI had a SCARY moment last year at Christmas because I was so busy thinking about my "to do" list.
so glad you are ok...hand controls...wow, maybe that would give me more confidence...but not too much...driving IS dangerous. It has been a year since I've been behind the wheel.
