Why Sunday Morning?

Why DO I Sleep like a log when I have plans to go to Church on Sunday?

Yesterday my Hubs and I did not wake til 7:40 as I was sleeping Dead to the world!  I did make it to Church but less fixed up....

My horse dog Donny woke me at 6am today (Monday).....I have gotten so lazy with my alarm clock because I know Donny will wake me but not anymore!

I find it funny how it is so easy for  me to sleep on Sunday's.

Do you have this ability to sleep when planning to go somewhere?

  1. hubby and I both have internal clocks, and we do not use a clock at all. he can actually set his, as if we wanted to leave at 4 am to drive to GA he would just tell himself to wake up at 3:30 and he does, mine i just wake up at 4 am, which is our time, we both do and the dogs are trained to wake up then. we always wake up at the same time.

  2. When I know I have to be somewhere, I have a really hard time sleeping at night. That is why I try not to make to many plans, then I don't lay awake afraid I will not get up in time.

You must of needed your sleep or you would not of slept late.

  6. Yup, me too. I keep waking every twenty minutes on the mornings I have to be somewhere. So I get v little sleep, and look and feel vile. Aaaargh.

  8. These days, I sleep too much I guess..... but blaming that on the post-operation painkillers. Normally I have a good sleeping heart, but if there is somewhere I have to go (even insanely early at the morning/night to go to the airport) my inner clock makes me wake up a few minutes ahead of the alarmclock

  9. I'm just the opposite. Because of my sleep disorder, I can't ever sleep on the night before I have to be someplace. I can't count the sleepless Saturday nights I have within a year. It's maddening.

  10. I slept like a log everyday except on days that I planned to go some where. I would bounce off bed five minutes before the alarm goes off and the night before the trip I couldn't sleep.

  11. Getting up on a Sunday morning is Always hard for me and my family. Luckily we go to a church whose service is a t 10:45. Its a perfect time...we get up at 9 and there is minimal fuss all around.

  12. Most days I go by my internal alarm but it's funny how on Sundays is when my body wants to reset itself.

  13. I kinda wish I did but I'm one of those annoyin' perky mornin' people and when the day arrives I'm up and Adam. My daughter The Social Butterfly always reminded me how annoyin' I can be. Heeehehehe!!!

Sundays...ahhhhh...no day of rest 'round here. It's up and off to teach Pre~Teen Sunday School, song service then I'm the Kid's Church pastor. I sometimes repeat day of rest, day of rest, day of rest as I walk to my car on Sunday mornin's .

God bless ya and have a beautiful day sweetie!!!

  15. Funny thing about that! I always am sleeping the best when I have to get up and go somewhere. Or when the phone starts ringing at 7:30A.M.
