Sister Fun Days in 1950

I would guess that my Mom was thinking the above phrase, when this photo was taken with her friend!

Just a cute pic that I found from Mom's old teenage photo album.

It is nice to see that our parents were fun loving kids.  It seems like they were always adults??

  1. My mom had an older sister, and was always following her around. It's interesting to look at my mom's old photos and see her a "typical" child and teen.
    Cheers

  2. Reminds me of my 2 sisters! We've had MUCH fun, even in our adulthood. :)

  3. I love looking at old photos; it puts our parents in a whole different light. My mother once said (as I sat laughing at old photos of her,) "I wasn't always a Mom, you know. I had a life too!" Kind of made me take notice.

    Peace,

  7. What a great picture! Yes, it's hard to think of our mom's as anything other than mom, because that is all we know. I would hope that our grown children get to know us as a more complete person, but sometimes that doesn't happen.

  9. Wow Kim... How thin your mom was. Sisters can be so much fun.

It has been a long time since I visited you... Hope every thing is going well for you.

I also seen your previous post... what a beautiful bride you were.
