My IQuity Trip to Nashville

I felt privileged that IQuity invited me to their blog symposium this past weekend in Nashville.  It was fun.

They have a blood test that can detect MS with 90% accuracy! Which is a million times easier than a lumbar puncture.
(I had a terrible spinal headache for a week after my spinal tap.)

improved with exercise

It was a very encouraging symposium with a great group of bloggers.
Caroline Craven (GirlWithMS),
Kathy Reagan Young (FUMS),
Kim Standard (StuffCouldAlwaysBeWorse),
Cat Stappas (ItsOnlyABruise),
Beth Prystowsky (ModernDayMS),
Stephanie Buxhoeveden (JustKeepSmyelin),
Matt Cavallo (MattCavallo),
Dan and Jennifer Digmann (DanandJenniferDigmann),
Laura Kolaczkowski (insidemystory
and Dave Bexfield (Dave's ActiveMSers Blog)

IQuity treated us to fancy food at
The Opryland Hotel

We ended the evening with Cirque de Holidaze at the Grand Ole Opry House.

My daughter drove me, helped me with my chair and walker, etc.  And that is priceless!

Disclaimer: IQuity paid for the trip but all opinions are mine.

How wonderful you could share this with your daughter! I am so sorry that had not developed this blood test back when you needed it. So are hospitals using it yet?

How wonderful.
I didn't know there was a bloodtest. I had a very expensive MRI and education guesses by my neurologist. And only the thought that they would have to start again if I shrieked kept me still for the MRI.

This blood test is just now hitting the market. Insurance doesn’t cover it yet. I left out that info?? It may be $1000.....

It must have been so neat to meet other bloggers who have MS as a common bond. It was indeed an honor for you to be invited, but it's not surprising to me that they would want you. Nashville was a great choice for the venue. So much to see and do (and eat) there.

It’s so good following the various progress they are doing in the research and treatment of MS - and it’s always good to see other MSers worldwide to contribute/help future MSers
Sounds like you had a good trip
Merry Christmas
