My Sisters Funny Eclipse Family Photo

I had a good laugh when I saw my sisters family photo on her Facebook page.

I hope you do too with their welding helmets on!  (I am not promoting welding helmets)

They had a full eclipse up in Copperhill, Tennessee......ours was partial in Atlanta.

  2. Your sister and family were blessed to be able to see the eclipse at full totality. What an amazing sight it must have been. Ours was partial here, but I didn't get to see even that!

  10. Why helmets? A pair of adequate sun glasses will do. It looks funny, but it reminds me of masques against chemical warfare we got, in case Saddam Hussein attacks. And that was not funny at all. We were scared.

  11. The town had sold out of glasses to see the eclipse. They made do with welding helmets which they had in their garage. He is a mechanic.
Sorry Duta for the bad memory it brought up...I have no bad memories here, we are so blessed
