My dirty worn out boots make me so happy.......it shows me how much I have walked with my walker this year!
I haven't had worn out shoes in 20 plus years since riding in a wheelchair takes no toil on shoes!
I think I will need to buy a new pair of boots next year!
As the boot shows I still have a foot drop problem but I do not like to wear my brace....a comfort level thing.
What a great problem to have......dirty wore out boots!
congratulations and a standing ovation for having worn out boots. can you hear me clapping?
ReplyDeleteWoo Hoo.
ReplyDeleteAnd happy dances.
Sigh on the foot drop front though. Me too.
funny how dirty worn out boots are often the most comfortable. Happy Sunday Kim,.
ReplyDeleteHi Kim - I love, love, love your wore out blue boots - the blessings are bountiful in those boots - only those of us who do not take independent mobility for granted understand - I need new hi-top sneakers! My old ones are pretty worn - thank God!! Great post
ReplyDeleteLove to you
Gail
peace......
Thanks for the reminder that even being able to walk and having worn out shoes is a blessing.
ReplyDeleteYour boots are cute! I have a similar pair. That's a great way to think about having to buy new boots. Plus, one can never have too many shoes!
ReplyDeleteWell done. I hope you can wear out another pair.
ReplyDeleteNoticed the nice wear pattern on the sole. Good work!
ReplyDeleteI also scuff the top of my toe on my right side.
Think of all the money you save on shoes!
Congrats on wearing out some boots. That is definitely progress!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI had a Foot Drop problem about 16 years ago... Went to the doctor and found out that it was because I was crossing my legs too much... To this day, I have to be careful not to do that for long periods of time... Crazy, huh???
Have a great week.
Hugs,
Betsy
Well done, Kim. May you wear out more boots in the coming year.
