Routine Mammograms

net image

13 years have gone by since I heard the breast specialist say those sobering words:

"I am 90 percent sure that You have breast cancer" he was wrong....but I did not know that til after the surgery.

Memories of that time of my life sure makes me Thankful for those yearly routine exams like I had yesterday.....

when they say everything is clear with no sign of cancer!

  3. I've never had one. I really should make an appt. My health insurance with the school would cover it in full.

  9. Here in Ireland mammograms are only offered every 3 yrs or so to women over the age of 55. Of course these are free as part of the government provided healthcare system.

I'm glad you discovered that your doctor was wrong 13 yrs ago!

  11. AAACK! That would have scared me senseless. I have mine due next month and am dreading it. They really crunch down on your poor, defenseless boobs with vigor, don't they?
Glad to hear you got a clean bill of health!

  12. One of my favorite friends just finished her final round of chemo for a cancer that they found very, very early. We're praising God together that they did.
