This year I have had an unusual appreciation of the beauty of Spring.
Maybe it is an age thing?
Or the fact that Spring keeps coming and going?
Or surviving a 5 minute survival story last week?
Whatever.....I am loving the sights (such as the detail of this flower) and the sounds (of birds chirping) during this Spring season!
this is just plain GORGEOUS...
ReplyDeleteI love spring, especially after a long cold winter like we had.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't feel like spring yet, where I live. Close, but not quite there yet!
ReplyDeleteMe too, Kim. I think it's because winter stuck around so long this year.. That made spring even more joyous...
ReplyDeleteLove your flower... Gorgeous.
Hugs,
Betsy
I love Spring! Living where I do in the Pacific Northwest is like a getting out of jail free card.
ReplyDeleteI appreciate it more and more each year. And this year, I am just so glad I am around to enjoy it! Your lily is gorgeous, I have never seen a red and white one like this.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flower.
ReplyDeleteI am just waiting for spring to be serious. Ha

That's a gorgeous bloom Kim! Spring...it's snowing here this evening.
ReplyDeleteThat is a glorious Hippeastrum. I hope Spring has finally come to stay with you...
ReplyDeleteI have thought the same thing.
ReplyDeleteHearing the birds and smelling the fresh cut grass. It is very calming.
Man, am I getting mellow as I get older!
Lovely flower! Definitely as I get older, I find joy in nature a lot more than when I was young and obsessed with boys and parties. Nature seemed boring. Can you imagine?!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. I love the sights and sounds of spring.
