A Car Wreck....

My daughter-in-law was in a car wreck
she was riding along with a friend to do errands
when another vehicle hit her side of the car
(like the net pic above)

Thankfully she is fine but has aches and pains.

When you get that heart-stopping middle of the night phone call
it is a relief for it to start with "everybody is Ok"

We know side impact car wrecks can be devastating!

I Praise the Lord that she is doing Ok
since it could have been so much worse!

  7. I agree, calls like that should always start with "everyone is okay." You never want to hear anything else.

Thankfully, they are making cars safer and safer. My husband was in an accident just like that a couple years back. With all the air bags deployed, ha walked away from a totaled car! Still, when I saw the car a couple days later, the first think I said was "Oh thank God."

  9. Glad it wasn't worse but even so, she should see a doctor and a personal injury lawyer right away. She will have a claim against the other driver's insurance.

  16. When the phone rings late or early it can only be bad news. I am so happy that aches and bruises are the extent of the damage to your daughter in law. Cars can be repaired more easily than people and certainly replaced much more easily.
