That is not a big deal for most people but it is for me....
It is Not because I cannot fry an Egg but it is because I like to eat Brownies and Cookies for breakfast.
I need an Egg for strength instead of sugar....duh
Dad says that my stomach is in shock now!
I do need more strength since I walk (with a walker) much more!
Walking is the reason that I eat an Egg!
I fried an egg today, too.....trying to cut wheat and dairy out of the diet....sooooo no more Cheerios and milk for breakfast.... ;(
ReplyDeleteEnjoy
With our chickens, we eat a lot of eggs. They are the perfect protein :-)
ReplyDeleteA fried egg sandwich sounds great for breakfast. I don't like to eat sweets for breakfast because of the quick nature or the energy they provide. I find myself yawning and grumpy about an hour after breakfast... I find that if it is a choice between sweets or nothing then nothing is a better choice for me. But I do enjoy a brownie and some milk before bed...mmmmmm
ReplyDeletethe only way i can eat and egg is really done, so none like these, I either scramble or make a well done omelet type egg with cheese. i prefer to get my eggs inside a brownie. good luck with your protein
ReplyDeleteBrownies and cookies sound good! I don't bother with breakfast much, a bowl of special K. But on the weekend it's eggs! Eggs are a healthy choice if you don't have a cholesterol problem.
ReplyDeleteYes, that protein will stick with you much longer than sugar!
ReplyDeleteYes, that protein will stick with you much longer than sugar!
ReplyDeleteGood for you to try something good for you - I like brownies too!
ReplyDeleteGood for you. You could have brownies and milk for dessert.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your breakfast!Eggs over easy, toast with butter, a bowl of fruit and coffee... perfect! BUT....I'm out of eggs I'm on a diet so I can't eat bread.......so a bowl of boring stinkin' fruit it is! UGH!
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Joanne
I am SO glad that you are doing better!!! So you really eat cookies for breakfast?? You are MY kind of person! But I only do that in my dreams. Do you like eggs?? I love them, cooked most any way. Sometimes, I will fry three for breakfast and eat them with bread, then I'm not hungry the rest of the day! They have lots of good protein to get your day off to a good start.
ReplyDeleteOhh I must eat more eggs also as I am trying to walk more :)
ReplyDeleteI rarely eat breakfast but yours sounds AWESOME and totally up my alley! The cookies and brownies brekky, that is! lol
ReplyDeleteI love eggs --most anyway I can get them. On Saturdays, my hubby fixes the best veggie omelet for me that I've ever eaten... That's one of our Saturday routines... YUM...
ReplyDeleteYES---quit eating all of that sugar and get some good stuff in ya!!!!! Mama Says!!!!
Hugs,
Betsy
I love eggs all ways 'cept raw. =p
ReplyDeleteWe enjoy scrambled eggs sandwiches for supper sometimes, but I don't eat eggs for breakfast.
ReplyDeleteYou asked about my header. It's not hard to do if you use Picasa3, which you can download free from the internet. I download all my pics in Picasa, and making a collage is one of the options. If I can do it, that means it's easy!
The best part of walking is getting to eat more. I've been frying my eggs in a non-stick pan in water just a bit goes a long way I call them guilt free, seasoned with Mrs. Dash Garlic & Herb. I like them for dinner!
ReplyDeleteThey were Mm Mm good. Have a wonderful night.
Now that I do most of the cooking around here I try to pay more attention to what my wife and I eat...whole grains, low sodium, etc. Sure is a change from college days when leftover pizza and a bottle of beer was a good breakfast; pizza for bread and veggies, beer is made with grain and water.
ReplyDeleteHahah, Kim. I'm sure your body was wondering what's going on. Yeah for you, girl!
ReplyDeleteYour post reminded me of Dr. Seuss Green Eggs and Ham!
ReplyDeleteWe love farm fresh eggs at our house!
Sweets, not the greatest breakfast, Dear. I eat oatmeal most every morning. Blessings ~
ReplyDeleteI like cookies for breakfast, too!
ReplyDeleteAnd mexican food leftovers. :)
Sounds good! I can't remember the last time I had an egg....
ReplyDeleteYeppppp! I have the same dietary requirement. I need my protein in a big way. A spinach smoothie to go with it helps a lot too.
ReplyDeleteGood for you. Eat more eggs and less cookies to make you strong.
ReplyDeleteYou crack me up!!!
ReplyDeleteGood girl! Ha! Yes, if given the choice between brownies or eggs, the brownies would clearly win!
