it sounds like what happens to me. when i can't think of anything to blog about, i say i have lost my mojo which is the same thing as mind gone fishing. hope yu catch a big fish to blog about when it gets really bad, i look around the house, snap a shot of some dumb thing and post it and talk about it. like yesterday showing the fridge repair.
Well does this mean that your father is making you lose your mind (a not uncommon occurrence with visiting parents), or that you are just in a serene mood? Hope it's a nice visit!
My father used to talk about 'gorn fishin' when he meant absent. And yes, I so know about the mind thing. I have been describing it lately 'as my brain has gone out to lunch and didn't invite me'. It has been a long lunch too. Sigh. Hope things come together for you soon - loved the photo.
That is neat that you can spend time with your Dad, Kim... Neither of my parents nor my 2 brothers are still alive... SO--I am glad to hear others talk about taking time with their family... Hugs, Betsy
Ooooh. You really are very lucky. I WANT my mind to go on an escape. Fishing....get lost in the woods or at a lake....quit thinking for even an hour! I would enjoy it.....especially if you are at THAT place. hugs:)
