This little June bug is a frightening sight to some people, umm my sister.
I think this little beetle is harmless. It was funny when we were kids as I showed her how nice the June bug was.
We all have fears to overcome and a few take a lifetime to conquer such as spiders, public speaking, etc.
Many are serious fears and frightening to face when they arrive. Just keep on trying to overcome them and find peace.

Good thoughts. The more we overcome fears, the stronger we become.

ReplyDeleteOh...your June Bugs are kind of pretty. Ours are big brown uglies! It's taken years, but I am finally overcoming my bug and spider fear.
ReplyDeleteWe face fear and adversity daily. If we look into the face of these fears with faith and perseverance we will overcome them...
ReplyDeleteI've never been afraid of beetles or spiders -- unless they're poisonous, they can't hurt me. But I know a lot of people who are afraid of both! And, I'm afraid of some people...
ReplyDeletePeace,
Muff
I clicked on this one to get a better look. He is very pretty, all sparkly green like an emerald. So they are really harmless, they won't sting or bite??
ReplyDeletePersevere - Persevere - Persevere - and you will conquer. At least that's what I'm telling myself!
ReplyDeleteGreat post.
June bugs don't bug me, but spiders do!
ReplyDeleteI have to face a big fear at the end of next month -- public speaking!!!
ReplyDeleteI agree with the Ray Stephens' song: "I don't like spiders and snakes . . . "
ReplyDeleteSome fear is a normal part of our lives, but we can't let it control us. Good thoughts, Kim!
I always enjoyed June bugs when I was a kid - I thought they were pretty but I sure don't like snakes!
ReplyDeleteGood advice, Kim. I'm frightened of bugs, spiders and public speaking and need that encouragement!
ReplyDeleteThis is true - we went out to dinner the other night and my daughter had a bug in her salad - crawling - I see now it was a June bug - and she was scared! teehee
ReplyDeleteJune bugs always surprise me!! They are so clumsy and heavy!!
ReplyDeleteSpiders though...,yikes!!
Yes it is good to conquer ones' fears. Take baby steps and before your know it...freedom!

Wonderful post my dear. Thank you. Blessings.
ReplyDeleteYes spiders are on my list... so are high bridges and overpasses!
ReplyDeleteI have never seen a June bug that close up before. Or maybe I have but didn't' realize that it was a June bug. I don't mind bugs but I prefer they stay pretty far away from me.
ReplyDeleteVery true indeed. I am afraid of heights. When ever I am at a tall building, In rarely look out the window or the balcony, I could feel my knees goes weak and could not stand properly. Sounds silly but I had yet to overcome it.
ReplyDeleteGreat blog!!
