My Photography Hobby

This rose bud is part of the same bush that I declared dead last week.  It has a bit of life left in it.
My sister 1977
I have liked taking pictures since I was a child, so my parents gave me a Kodak 110 camera.  They paid for the developing of the film at our local drug store pharmacy.

The digital cameras allow us to capture some of the detail that the eye can see.  The delete button is handy also!

I am always amazed with the human eye and the way the brain processes the beauty!

  2. The best thing about digital photography is that you can take as many photos as you want and not have to worry about "wasting film" or bad shots.

  3. me to on the camera and the human eye, digital picks up so much detail, like in that gorgeous rose you thought was dead. i am watching the back yard and it still amazes me when a stick grows leaves.

  6. Looks like that rose bush still has some life in it. I have always wanted to dabble in photography, just can't find the time. Hey, thanks for voting for me! That means the world to me...

  7. Hooray for your rose bush! It looks like you will have some beautiful blossoms.
I love photography, and have always taken pictures. I used to be a painter, but with the MS I can no longer create with a brush, so now I use a digital camera, and I love it.

  9. Great shot! I love photos that focus in on an object upfront and the rest seems to fade away!

How encouraging to see life in a little place you didn't expect it to be!

  10. I wish I was a better photographer. I was looking at some of the pictures I posted on my blog this morning and thinking they could've been much better.

I love digital cameras because you don't have to pay to have the pix developed and can delete the bad ones.

  17. If we look hard enough, we can see little signs of life all around us, even when things seem lost to us!

  20. This reminds me of my "crazy camera" my parents bought me when I was around 10 years old. I loved taking pictures too. It think it was called a Kokky camera or something like that. I think I will look for it on ebay!

  21. I see a "photographic" moment in my minds' eye and when I take the photo in real time...it doesn't quite match the one I had pictured just seconds before. I think I "color" my photos!! HA
