My MS TShirt

This is me in my new MS TShirt.  It informs others of why I am in a wheelchair or why I walk strangely :)

I have had many say to me, "I have a friend who has MS" when I wear these TShirts.

This is an individual decision and each person decides whether to wear them, of course.

I ordered this from MS TShirts, whom is my sponsor.  There are many others to choose from....so check them out.

  2. That's a nice short, Kim. This summer I'm going to do some tee shirt embellishing, so I might add the MS one, too.
    Peace,
    Muff

  3. A nice shirt Kim! I have one that says; "I'm not drunk, I have MS" I got very tired of people thinking that my stumbling was due to intoxication!
    Cheers

  4. Ah, that our world could just love and accept everyone as they are. Until then wear the shirt and keep advocation and educating. That is awesome and brave!

  5. I think it's kind of a neat idea. It breaks down barriers and allows people to talk to you about it if they choose to. That is how people get informed. And that is how we raise funds to help to eradicate it. Then we won't need to wear the t-shirts anymore and kids will say...remember when people used to get MS like they say about polio now.

  10. Great picture, Kim. You look like a teenager!!!!! (That is a compliment!)...

My friend has Multiple Sclerosis written on the back of her wheel chair. People do need to know.

  11. That's a very nice shirt! I remember I think it was ...oh the actress Teri Garr. The paparazzi accused her of being drunk in public, so she finally had to make it known that she has M.S. She had not wanted to say anything for fear of not getting work. You never know, we all need to give others the benefit of the doubt...some people may wonder why I feed little Ella high fat food and took her to McDonald's even when she was a baby. BAD caregiver!!! But she has cystic fibrosis, and those children need high fat diets. Things are so often not what they seem...

  12. Nice shirt!

I've known lots of people who have MS. I'm just shocked at how the symptoms seem to vary widely from person to person.

  19. Great shirt Kim!!!
    You're a GREAT MS ambassador!
It's just a shame that we have to wear shirts so not to be judged by others...
