Hubs Got a Job!

He is at work now!  I had forgotten how nice it is to say that phrase.

God takes care of us again!

A few lessons for me, during 8 months of unemployment:

1.  If you have a job, be Thankful.
2.  When applying for Food Stamps, do not judge.
3.  Some stuff is not necessary (less TV, phone etc)
4.  Use more blankets to stay warm
5.  Less stress when Hubs would do odd jobs.
6.  Discovered kind people willing to help.
7.  It is Wonderful to keep House payments current.
8.  Time to reconnect with Hubs when marriage was drifting some?
9.  Having the house Alone, just Me when hubs was busy.
10. Compassion has increased again!

I again learn the lesson, to Wait on God....Really it is One day at a time!

  7. Great news, Kim!! And your lessons learned touched me. Right now I really need to remember "wait on God, one day at a time." I know that's what I must do, but it surely helps to see it in print and to know that it worked for you! It just reinforces what God is saying to me! Thanks!

  14. It all works out, doesn't it? I can identify with getting food stamps. We had to rely on them once, when Kendall was first born and Mr.4444 lost his job and was unemployed for three months. After paying into the system my whole life, I felt no shame in taking a little out--That's what it's there for.

    Congrats on the new job!!!!!

  21. Kim -

You have such amazing faith. This is certainly encouraging for anyone going through the same thing. God does provide, doesn't He?

I like the verse, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5

    God bless Kim!
