The Three Oma's

What a finish to a great visit with the sister's from Germany. These weeks have flown by, with many delicous meals and visits.

We had a the best of all meals, they served us an authentic old world German dinner, made the way their Mother taught them.
It felt like we were in Germany, a wonderful cultural lesson for my children. It will always be a great memory, (cannot spell what we ate).

The lesson we learned is, you can feel the love, without speaking the same language. As Pilar said, a hug and smile is the same in any language.

  6. Yes, Kim, I truly agree about speaking love without expressing it in the same words.

The language of love is by far powerful. I love German food! And it's a very beautiful country too!

(When I was there, I was in the shop and I wanted something but there's no one I could turn to for help. So I spoke out loud, "is there anybody here who can speak English? hahaha... then one lady smiled and said in her German voice, 'I do".)
