Take A Look Back

When life seems so busy and exhausting, take a look at how far you have come. I had one of those days, keeping the baby, shower, go by the Bank, then get to the Dentist. I was thinking on the way home, if I can just make it to the next place. I realized, how far I had made it, just one step at a time.

Life has challenges and we should look back sometimes, to see what we have come through thus far. That will help, make today's challenges, seem small.
Remember that with tomorrows challenges.

Maybe that's why in the Old Testament they were frequently building those memorials - to remind them of what God had done so they would have faith for the present.

There are many times I did wonder Kim, how far I have come. Just to think of those hard rough times where everything was done and achieved without the aid of motors and electricity but the fruits of manual labours were very sweet and satisfying. I have come through many seas in all seasons, in all weathers. I had have travelled many lands on foot, on boat, on ship, on buses and no matter how wrangling and threatening the conditions could be ... I managed to get through the line.

Yes, and again, we are thinking alike again. As today, while in bed, I was visiting my childhood memory of one of those places we lived before. And this is what I was contemplating about.

May you keep well and be safe. Thinking of you.

Oh yes! It is such a good idea to look at how much we have progressed!!! It makes our future hurdles seem a little less massive!!!
