Flowers for Leontien

I was surprised to see our rose bush blooming in its natural beauty.....
with no care or attention from us since last year!

(I have had a rough week since I caught a virus....my body required me to rest even more...but now I feel better!)

I want to join in sending virtual flowers to Leontien at Four Leaf Clover Diary.  She has been battling cancer....I join A Roural Journal to send blogging support for Leontien.

Windy Days

I like to watch this tree blowing in the wind...
yet standing tall!

below the camera captured what I did not see
Spider webs are amazing
even if I have a spider phobia!

Squirrel Watching

These pesky cute squirrels have been fun to watch
while I have been recovering.

The squirrels have been carrying sticks up to build a
nest under our deck

and then down again to look for more stuff!

Donny said "I think I smell a squirrel!"

I blog about squirrels often but
they do not bother me.
My horse dog has another opinion!

Baclofen Pump Implant

During my recovery from the surgery to implant a baclofen pump...
I took a few photos when I felt better, as seen above.

When deciding whether to have surgery.....my reason was the need to have relief from the leg spasms but there was a second good reason:

Before surgery...I took 80 mg of baclofen each day.
Now I only need .05 mg
since the baclofen goes directly into my spine with the pump
80mg before-.05mg now!

The spasticity is gone with a fraction of medicine!
(The Doc will monitor the pump and dosage)

It has been tough to have surgery.....however....I have been released from the Neurosurgeon with a good report....now I only wait on more strength to return as I rest.

This too shall pass as I regain more strength each day....
and also learning to have more patience!

Feeling Better!

I love the beauty of flowers

I am back sorta.....slowly as my body mends!
I am recovering from the implant of a Baclofen Pump.
(details to follow in a few days)

It has been a long 2 weeks
but I had a lot of friends and family to bring me food
and Milkshakes!

I will get back to blogging as I feel stronger!
Thanks for all the prayers!
